FR Engineering Group is the lead engineer for repairing and replacing the failing seawall at Rose Larisa Park. The City of East Providence engaged FREG to help them preserve the shoreline after large movement was noted in portions of the park's seawall. Rose Larisa Park is still heavily used today.

FREG provided conceptual design services, which included a subsurface investigation and concept level plans with estimated costs for several repair/replacement options, final design and preparation of plans for the seawall repair/replacement, permitting services, assistance with emergency repairs for a failed portion of the seawall, and assistance with bidding and contractor selection for the final repair/replacement. The final design of the seawall repair/replacement includes the construction of a stone revetment, a granite block retaining wall, a sheet pile cutoff wall, a pile-supported concrete walkway, pile-supported timber stairs, and miscellaneous flatwork. FR Engineering Group provided construction oversight services and administration services.
